No, we are a service that will turn your family history into a multi-page publication whilst a family tree can become one of its elements.
First, we will help you to choose services (one may want to record a video or to do a photo shoot with a film camera instead of a digital one), then we will conduct a series of interviews with your loved ones, work with the family archive, and prepare the final version of the website or book for printing. We can interview your relatives via Zoom or messengers: the experience of r has shown that the quality of the product does not suffer from this.
Online versions of the books are password protected and intended exclusively for family members. The projects presented on the site are posted with the consent of the participants.
You are right, all these shots reflect the events but in a slightly different way. We are interested in combining interviews, archival photographs, and modern footage, making the content of the publication fascinating both for our contemporaries and for future generations, who will have a unique opportunity to learn a more about their family in a single narrative.
The exact cost of the project will become clear after the meeting and a detailed discussion of the project: in the process, many issues will arise that will affect the final amount (we can talk about photographing relatives in another city, printing an offline version of a book on paper of one quality or another, or digitizing VHS tapes — each the project is individual).
